Program Manager – Home Teams
Kristy Anderson is Program Manager of the Home Teams at Heading Home. She has worked in the public hospital setting where she managed a pediatric and health literacy program that served patients experiencing homelessness and poverty, including immigrants from war torn countries. That work included recruiting, training, and overseeing volunteers. Kristy has also been a plain language/health literacy writer and editor who created easy-to-read health and science materials for vulnerable populations.
In addition to working for nonprofits, Kristy is a community volunteer who has served on her neighborhood association board, on several national health care committees, and currently serves as a Board Member with the Open Space Alliance.
Born and raised in Albuquerque, Kristy went to UNM and has a B.A. in Anthropology.
