Volunteer Program Manager / Assistant to the CEO
Charlie, a volunteer from a young age, values the importance of like-minded individuals coming together to achieve great things. He’s had the good fortune to work alongside thousands of volunteers and is constantly inspired by their passion.
Charlie moved from Washington, D.C. to New Mexico in 2008 for a volunteer opportunity. Already familiar with New Mexico, he says it was an easy decision to stay. He’s worked as a journalist and an organizer for the past 20 years; he’s worked toward marriage equality, civil rights, social justice, innovative political candidates, and adequate access to healthcare.
When not working, Charlie and his husband can be found being adventurous in the kitchen, eating tacos in the South Valley, or discovering outdoor treasures in the Land of Enchantment. He also squeezes in binge watching TV and volunteering for others.
