Winter Shelter

Heading Home Emergency Winter Shelter houses up to 300-350 people per night. The purpose of the Winter Shelter is to be a safe and welcoming place for every child, woman and man experiencing homeless in the Albuquerque community. The operation of the Winter Shelter is funded by the City of Albuquerque to house people living on the streets during the colder months. The Winter Shelter runs from November 15th, 2017 to March 15th, 2018. Throughout the course of the Winter Shelter’s operation, residents will be connected to community resources, both within Heading Home, and through our partners in the community.
