Volunteer with Heading Home

Heading Home partners with the City of Albuquerque to provide year-round volunteer opportunities at our shelters.  If you are interested in volunteering at one of the shelters, or with one of our other programs, contact Melissa at mkaminskysw@headinghome.org for more information.

Volunteer opportunities include:

  • Sorting donations
  • Leading activities and special events, such as game night
  • Landscaping at the men’s shelter
  • Organizing friends or co-workers to create toiletry kits and gift bags
  • Helping at special events and holiday events throughout the year
