JobConnect

In 2022, Heading Home launched the JobConnect program, designed to help homeless individuals in our community get back on their feet and earn an income.

JobConnect staff help clients with job search assistance, application guidance, resume building, mock interviews, and securing proper ID’s and documentation for the hiring process. The program also provides funds for training programs, work clothes, shoes, transportation, and more. Referrals for JobConnect clients come from our shelters and housing programs.

We partner with several organizations as well, including NM Workforce Connections/Solutions, Salvation Army, and Hiring Hub.
