Chassity Garcia

AOC Program Director

Chassity Garcia has been employed with Heading Home since 2018, starting out as the Weekend Dorm Resident Assistant. Before working with Heading Home, she assisted youth with job development, employment, and navigating housing options. She is a graduate of West Mesa High (GO MUSTANGS!) and Job Corps, Albuquerque. She is currently attending CNM and hopes to transfer to Highlands University to pursue her dream as a Social Worker.

Chassity is from the Pueblo of Kewa, formally known as Santo Domingo Pueblo. Her family moved to Albuquerque when she was a teen and has been living in the Albuquerque area since then. She likes to participate in cultural activities, reading, and long drives throughout New Mexico.

Being in situations of poverty and homelessness has made her passionate in helping others achieve greatness. Chassity loves working at Heading Home because she enjoys seeing people happy and succeeding.
