Gateway Center

Gateway Center at Gibson Health Hub

The City acquired the Gibson Medical Center in April 2021 and renamed it the Gibson Health Hub. The campus hosts existing tenants providing medical, behavioral health, and vocational services. The City’s Gateway project will add additional health resources for the community as well as centrally located overnight beds and supportive services to connect people with the help they need on their pathway to housing.

The Gibson Winter Beds offer a safe and welcoming environment to *men and women experiencing homelessness in Albuquerque with 25 beds for men and 35 for women. A warm dinner is provided every evening. Service animals are welcome.

This is a temporary program that will be closing when the opening of Phase 1 of the Gateway Center is announced. Women in the program will be invited to transition into Gateway.

*The Men’s Gibson Winter Beds will be closing on April 21. We will not be accepting referrals starting March 31.

Winter beds are by referral only.
