Nieva Contreras is a native New Mexican. She was born and raised in Albuquerque. Before joining the Heading Home team Nieva worked as a pharmacy technician. Before taking on the role as a WECH Program Director Ms. Contreras previously worked at Heading Home as a pod monitor, HMIS data specialist, and WECH supervisor.

 Nieva is currently attending CNM and studying human services. In her spare time, she enjoys painting and spending time with her two nephews. She is very passionate about personal self-development and is always looking to grow and challenge herself. Nieva loves working for Heading Home because she knows every day she comes into work she has the opportunity to change someone’s life and make a difference
