July marked the end of a year-long journey for Audrey Taylor, our Young Adult Volunteer (YAV). The ABQ YAV program is part of a nationwide faith-based year of service for young people. YAVs parnter with local agencies in “working to address root causes of poverty and reconciliation…”
Audrey spent the last year volunteering at our AOC men’s emergency shelter working with veterans experiencing homelessness to support their transition from the streets into housing. Audrey became an indispensable part of the team at AOC and her kindness, hard work and positivity reverberated through our clients and staff.
