Everyone deserves safe housing. The Westside Emergency Housing Center (WEHC for short) offers a safe and welcoming environment to families, women and men experiencing homelessness in Albuquerque. The WEHC is open year-round on evenings during the week and operates 24 hours on weekends. WEHC now offers a medical clinic two times a week that includes continuity of care and case management services.

The Westside Emergency Housing Center is located near the Double Eagle Airport and it can take about 25 minutes to get there from downtown. If you’d like to participate in the tour, please plan accordingly and arrive promptly so we can begin the tour on time! If you have any questions about this tour or other tours with Heading Home, please contact Communications Program Director Katie Knipe at katiek@headinghome.org or 505-344-2323 x 210.
