Are you wondering how individuals experiencing homelessness in Albuquerque receive support? Do you want to understand how Heading Home works to make experiences of homelessness rare, short-lived and nonrecurring? Are you a Heading Home donor who is interested in witnessing the impact of your generous support? If you answered “Yes!” to any of these questions, we have exciting news for you!
Heading Home will begin offering regularly-recurring opportunities for our community to tour the Albuquerque Opportunity Center (AOC) and the Westside Emergency Housing Center (WEHC). On the “Final Friday” of each month, we will host a shelter tour for anyone who is interested in signing up to see and learn more. Currently, we will alternate between the AOC Campus and the WEHC, starting with the AOC on October 25. The November tour of the WEHC will take place on November 22 in order to accommodate for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Tours are limited to 15 guests, so please sign up to reserve your spot!
