Heading Home is pleased to announce Ms. Connie Chavez has joined the organization as the new Chief Executive Officer. Connie, born and raised in Albuquerque, brings with her a wealth of knowledge from her lifelong efforts to enhance services for the underprivileged/underserved communities in Albuquerque. Connie's history of community service includes her work as Executive Director of the Barrett Foundation, Sawmill Community Land Trust, and the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation.Currently, Connie serves as Vice Chair of the Bernalillo County Planning Commission and has been a member of several local and national nonprofit Board of Directors.Please join us in welcoming Connie to Heading Home as she works to fulfill the agency's mission as an innovative, collaborative leader in the community addressing homelessness.
