Thank you to the wonderful members of Sagebrush Church who volunteered at the Westside Emergency Housing Center on October 12! On this early Saturday morning, Sagebrush Church recruited hundreds of volunteers to complete service projects across the Albuquerque community.
Almost 200 members were on site working hard to make the Westside Emergency Housing Center (WEHC) a beautiful, clean and fun place for guests to enjoy. Sagebrush volunteers brought trailers full of supplies and helped with landscaping, cleaning the dormitories and hallways, organizing the donation room, rolling up linens, cooking hot dogs and more! They even facilitated pumpkin carving for the families who are staying at the shelter and set up bouncy houses for little ones to enjoy.
We truly appreciate Sagebrush Church’s community investment. Thank you for organizing such an entertaining event for WEHC guests and for helping us keep the facility clean!
