Each Thursday afternoon, a group of Albuquerque Police Department and Albuquerque Fire Department officers, healthcare providers, social workers, and other stakeholders in the downtown community convene to hear from experts and discuss topics related to downtown public safety.
New Health Clinic and Case Management Services at WEHC!
The Westside Emergency Housing Center (WEHC) is now offering coordinated health care and case management services to the families, women and men staying at the facility due to an innovative partnership of community stakeholders.

Our Housing Director, Dorothee Otero, gave an overview of the organization and focused on the impact and innovation of our programs, why we do the work we do and the challenges we face in this sector.
Heading Home’s AOC Campus Offers an OASIS of Education
Thank you to the engaged participants from Oasis Albuquerque who took part in a learning session and tour at our Albuquerque Opportunity Center campus. The outing was hosted by our CEO, Dennis Plummer, and the learning exercises were designed to challenge preconceptions of what it means to experience homelessness.
